"Don't talk to me or my son ever once more" is an cyberspace meme that reached a high level of virality in 2016. Posts of the meme typically show a motion-picture show of a subject, whether it be a production or a person, with a miniature of that subject as the "son" and the utilize of the phrase "Don't talk to me or my son ever again". The first use of the phrase "Don't talk to me or my son ever over again" online was in a 2022 Tumblr post by user splendidland. The post showed carmine-colored text displaying the phrase over a screenshot of Fasten Spiegel in the anime Cowboy Bebop adjacent to a smaller-sized duplicate of the character. The "son" referred to the miniature of Spiegel. The post garnered approximately 6,300 notes as of March 2016.[1] The second Internet utilise of the meme was "don't you lot Always talk to me or my son that way again", in an August 2022 Tumblr post by konkeydongcountry, which depicted a movie of 2 Yoshi dolls of dissimilar sizes and the phrase.[1] In October 2015, a Twitter user under the name yoshibot used the phrase "don't yous always talk to me or my son again" in a motion picture he posted showing two Yoshi costumes, one much bigger than the other 1.[1] This fourth dimension, the word "you" was added and the word "ever" was removed.[1]

Concept [edit]

Most of the posts of the "Don't talk to me or my son e'er again" meme use a miniature of a bigger person in the picture as the "son".[one] However, there are too other forms of the meme that use actual smaller-sized versions of a product for the son, rather than using a smaller-sized visual of that product made through image editing.[1] At that place are also versions of the meme that don't use a smaller copy of a large subject but brand fun of the subject, an example being a post where Justin Bieber is the "son" of Ellen DeGeneres.[one] Some other example of the meme is a postal service on Twitter of Danny DeVito and Bernie Sanders, pointing out their similarities in demeanor only discrepancies in height.[one] A journalist for New York magazine opined that the weirdest posts of the meme were from Tumblr.[9]
